Asia-Pacific Harrier Magazine, a quarterly publication for Hash House Harriers, adventure travelers and endurance sport enthusiasts, is committed to bringing to its readers the most current Hash House Harriers event information from across Asia and the Pacific region. Now available on line (FREE) in pdf.
Global Trash is published by Stray Dog from the US (although it was in fact born in Germany). This currently costs US $19.95 (airmail to overseas) for 6 issues per year which generally average 20 A5 size pages and now include some colour piccies. It has been "on paper" since 1993 and its circulation is over 500.
Stray Dog also publishes what he calls a Hash Bible, now in its 6th edition which includes a compendium of hash songs and useful advice for new hashes. Airmail to non-US addresses now costs US $19.95. Mastercard and Visa accepted.
He also issues a Hash Roster which lists contact details for about 1300 hashes in 140 countries and he aims to update it quarterly. Price only $12.95 (to anywhere in the world). However the same info can be accessed for free on the: Worldwide Hash House Harriers Homepage
(but you are required to register your e-mail address first.)
He also vigorously markets an array of items such Hash Feet, buttons and even software for running a hash.

Lastly but by no means least there are the "magazines" on the internet in the form of hash mailing lists:
UK H3 Mailing List:

UKH3
Browse Archives at groups.google.com
The largest mailing list, hash-l is subscribed to by 500 or so hashers, 90% of whom are N. Americans and is "un-moderated" . i e anyone can post anything to the list and it appears straight away. As a consequence it contains a great deal of unbelievably useless wibble but maybe as much as 5% is really useful. (OK, just joking, guys!) To subscribe send an e-mail to listproc@usc.eduwith nothing on the subject line and the following text:
SUBSCRIBE HASH-L "SLICK WILLY, WHITE HOUSE H3" CLINTON
where (obviously) you replace your own hash handle, nerd name and hash chapter in the text. Do not add anything else, i e no signature, otherwise the machine in Southern California will throw a tantrum. Your mail box will then be filled with up to a 100 msgs a day (though there are ways to have these rolled up into just one message per day if you prefer).
If you do decide to give hash-l a try then you will probably find the "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQs) essential reading. Good luck!
The equivalent hash mailing list for Europeans is run by Sex Reject of Brussels Manneke Piss H³. It now has about 60 members. To subscribe surf along to:
and register with eurohashing.
Sex Reject provides the following guidelines:
"Abusive language, profanity, obscenity and offensive remarks are completely acceptable.
However, in the same way that almost everything on the US list is about hashing in the US, I'd like to keep this list centred on European hashing news and discussions.
So, if you're subscribing from the US, as I know many of you are, you're most welcum, but PLEASE keep postings relevant to European readers. If you don't, either I'll have to unsub you from the list (and I don't want to do that), or (if you're REALLY bad), I'll come and see you (and YOU don't want ME to do that!!!!)
Please DON'T post binaries. If you want to send porn, nudity, etc, send it to Sex Reject and he'll put it on a website where those that want it can get it."
If you are a hash webmaster interested in running a regional hash database then consider joining this list run by Slumpy from South Africa.

"This list exists for the prime objective of discussing the relative merits of regional and centralised contact databases The posts are unmoderated, but let's stay on topic.... If you *have* to flame, take it off-line......."
There are also hash "newsgroups" - alt.hash.house.harriers and alt.org.h-h-harriers but these tend to carry even more wibble than the mailing lists and any useful info posted soon appears on hash-l or eurohash-l anyway so please join either hash-l or eurohashing or both and help maintain hashing standards on the 'net. See you there!
On, On!
